Review:
- Some good, but mostly bad in this mediocre comedy
- Spring Breakdown centers on three thirty-something-year-old ‘losers’ who attempt to break the mold of their uninspiring lives by vacationing to a tropical destination that is also a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds. While trying their best to fit-in with the college crowd, conflicts of interests arise when one of the trio is expected to look after her boss’s daughter who is also at the resort – drunken 'hilarity' ensues.
- The storyline was fairly predictable and, to be honest, not all that entertaining
- The tidbits of occasional crude humor were the only thing that made the movie tolerable
- The movie played out much like an overstretched Saturday Night Live skit
- While the cast was great, their individual performances were so-so – but with a film like this, above-average performances weren’t necessary
