- This is not your modern, ‘Twilight-type’ vampire movie...instead, it’s what a vampire movie should be – scary!
- 30 Days of Night, based on the graphic novel, focuses on a small group of individuals’ attempt to survive 30 of days of darkness in an Alaskan town that succumbs to an onslaught of vicious vampires in need of blood
- The acting was superb; particularly Josh Hartnett who plays the tough, albeit asthmatic, town sheriff that leads the group of survivors
- The plot was very entertaining – never a dull moment, almost always in a fast-paced mode
- In terms of the visual/special effects in this move, they are top-notch – simply stunning how freaky the vampires looked!
- If you’re ever in the mood for a dose of horror, try this refreshing vampire movie on for size
